Bromley: Michael Earnshaw

I became a Public Governor representing our Public members who live in the Bromley borough in 2020.

About me

I grew up in Berkshire and moved to London in 2006. Since then I have worked in various areas of recruitment with large private sector clients originally then for the last ten years or so with the public sector and voluntary sector clients.

My work has seen me support the NHS across the UK (as well as in Kent), charities, and local government nationally so I feel I know the world the Trust works in.

Why I became a Governor

Bromley is an amazing place but with the same challenges as anywhere else when it comes to health and supporting vulnerable people. I and my family have lived across South East London for several years and feel like we have found a home in Bromley.

Being a Governor allows me the chance to encourage others to engage with a wonderful Trust and be supported by them if needed. It also allows me to support the Trust in return for the support it has provided myself and friends.

My interests and hobbies

I play hockey for a local club and love doing DIY at home (badly). Other than that I like getting out for walks in parks and the countryside.
