Vicky Ellis - Associate Director Quality Assurance & Improvement

Victoria Saffin

Vicky joined us from Kent Community Health (KCHFT) in November 2019 as Associate Director Quality Assurance and Improvement. Her portfolio includes all aspects of quality management, research and clinical coding. During her time at KCHFT she helped lead the organisation to achieve an outstanding CQC rating.

Vicky qualified as a physiotherapists in 1998, after completing various rotations in different areas including ITU, MSK, women's health and finally specialising in vascular and amputee rehabilitation.

Vicky is passionate about improving quality, developing staff capability and creating the right culture for continuous improvement.

Victoria Saffin - Head of Quality Improvement (on maternity leave)

Victoria Saffin

Victoria joined Oxleas in 2013, working in patient experience and later in quality and governance before commencing her role as head of quality improvement in 2018.

Victoria holds a range of qualifications including a BSc (Hons) in psychology from Plymouth University and PRINCE2. She is also an accredited European Mentoring and Coaching Council coach, Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Qi coach and is in the process of qualifying to become an IHI improvement advisor and QSIR practitioner.

Prior to Oxleas, Victoria spent seven years working in psychology for the prison service and forensic inpatient services in Devon.

Sheriece Bracey - Interim Head of Quality Improvement (maternity cover)

Sheriece Bracey

Sheriece joined Oxleas as maternity cover in January 2021 from her previous role in Royal Marsden.

Her portfolio includes knowledge and experience gained from working within a variety of NHS sectors on quality assurance, quality improvement and project management.

Sheriece holds qualifications in Psychology (BSc), Occupational Psychology (PGDip) and PRINCE2, providing a theoretical understanding of best practice, change management and quality improvement methodologies underpinned by the psychology of motivation and performance. All of which she has used in her roles to support and lead on change, as well as supporting, lead planning and delivering public and patient involvement initiatives - working with different seldom heard communities in North West London. 

Jillian Violich - Quality Improvement Lead (CYP and Adult Community Services)

Jillian joined Oxleas in May 2010, working with our informatics team before taking up a wide range of senior accounting roles across the trust. She joined the quality improvement team in May 2018.

Jillan has a degree in business studies and post graduate diploma in finance. She holds a certificate and diploma from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Jillian is also a quality improvement coach and an accredited European Mentoring and Coaching Council coach.

Originally from New Zealand, Jillian has called the UK home for the past 17 years. Prior to joining Oxleas she worked for a large advertising agency group and worked in financial systems implementation for several global companies, which allowed her to travel across the globe

Sara Veeramah - Quality Improvement Lead (Trustwide Inpatient, Older Adults and Crisis Services)

Sara VeeramahSara joined Oxleas in 2009, working within in the mental health inpatient wards across the trust with acutely unwell patients.

In 2015, she became the Safeguarding Adults Coordinator for the trust where she worked until 2017. She moved on to her role as the Bromley Business Officer as well as becoming the Bromley Staff Governor, she later joined the Bexley Care Business Office.

In August 2019, Sara joined the QI team as a Qi Lead for Bexley and Corporate.

Sara is an Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Qi coach, PRINCE 2 practitioner, A member of the Q Community and holds a CertHE in Mental health and Social Care. She is currently training to be an IHI Improvement Advisor and an accredited European Mentoring and Coaching Council coach.

Loretta Cox, Quality Improvement Lead (on maternity leave) (Forensics, Prisons and Corporate Services)

Loretta Cox

Loretta joined Oxleas in 2008 and took up the role as the Clinical Quality and Audit Manager supporting the Forensic and Prison directorate in 2012.

Here, she has been involved with the successful delivery of a number of projects including the improvement of patient experience through the CPA review process.

Loretta has taken up a number of roles during her time at Oxleas and has now joined the Quality Improvement team as a Qi lead

Claire Denny - Interim Quality Improvement Lead (maternity cover) 

Clare Deny

Clare has a Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration. She was first introduced to Qi when she participated and completed the Oxleas Leadership Development course which consisted of her leading her own Qi project. 

Clare joined the trust in 2015, starting her career as an administrator at HMP Thameside and going on to work at HMP Belmarsh as a PA and Admin Manager. She has extensive knowledge in prisons and how they operate alongside healthcare.

Clare is on a secondment with the Qi team covering the Prisons, Forensics and Corporate Qi Lead role.  

Sukh Dogra Quality Improvement Lead (Trustwide Community Mental Health and ALD Services)

Sukh DograSukh joined Oxleas in November 2019 from Frimley Park Hospital and has a degree in marketing and ten years of experience from a wide range of industries including the NHS.

In December 2020 she completed the Improvement Coach Professional Development Programme with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. She is currently training to be a quality improvement coach and accredited by European Mentoring and Coaching Council coach.

Sukh is also part of Oxleas shadow executive Committee.

Luke Rahman – Quality Information Data Analyst

Luke Rahman

Luke originally joined Oxleas in 2013, working on the inpatient mental health wards as a healthcare assistant.

He left in 2018 to complete the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme, where he completed various placements in different NHS organisations throughout London and Kent. Following completion of the scheme, Luke returned to Oxleas as the Quality Information Data Analyst in the Quality Improvement team.

Luke has a range of qualifications such as a BSc and MSc in Biology, and a PGCert in Healthcare Leadership. He is also completing a PGDip in Healthcare Data Analytics from University College London.

Kam Ghuman - Quality Management Assistant, Quality Assurance and Improvement

Kam GhumanKam has worked in the NHS for about 25 years. She worked as a Medical Secretary at various hospitals and departments including Queen Mary's Hospital.

Kam then joined Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust in 2006, working for Greenwich CAMHS as Team Secretary to Psychiatrists and the Learning Disabilities Team.

Following that, she worked for about five years as a PA to the Associate Director of CAMHS & CYP Clinical Director before joining the Quality Team as Quality Management Assistant in 2021.
