Shadow Executive Award

Our Shadow Executive Award is for an individual who has gone ‘above and beyond’ to put the trust value ‘we’re fair’ into action.

The winner has been chosen by members of our Shadow Executive who were looking for an exceptional individual who embraces difference, treats everyone with respect and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion.

Over 20 nominations were received for this new award category.

Recognition Awards 2021 Shadow Executive Award

Winner:

Cara Garrod, Greenwich CMHRES Team Manager

Cara was nominated by a number of colleagues who wanted to show their appreciation.

They told us Cara listens to the teams’ concerns and helps individuals within the team to address any concerns they may have. Cara is not afraid of change within services and is always positive and supportive of new ways of doing things or addressing situations which may be anxiety provoking for staff in terms of change. She has been very fair in her approach to maintaining a work life balance with individuals within the team and ensures the whole team are able to work to the best of their ability during COVID, whether this be at home or in the office.
