For service users and carers

Taking part in a research study gives access to novel treatments and interventions that don't form part of usual NHS care. It's important to note that if you are invited to take part in a research study but do not wish to do so, this is entirely at your discretion and your normal clinical care will not be affected in any way. You are also free to leave a study at any point and, again, your normal clinical care will not be affected.

If you are a user of our services - or a carer of someone that is - and would like more information or wish to take part in the research we are hosting, please contact us. You may also speak with a member of staff providing your care about studies that may be suitable for you or the person you are caring for. If you’d like to see details of all the NIHR Portfolio studies being hosted at Oxleas, please see the trust's NIHR Portfolio Studies Database.
