Skype consultation

Doing therapy on-line via Skype, is just like coming along for an 'in person' therapy session; however there is none of the inconvenience of leaving your home or work!

Besides the ease of use and the fact that it's free, one of the main appeals of Skype is that many of us are familiar with it, many people already use it and like it.

Using Skype in therapy (often called telemedicine) has many positives including:

  • Familiarity
  • Positive experience
  • Easy and simple access
  • Free to use
  • It saves time; no travel to and from where your therapist is based
  • If you are away from home, your session can still take place if you have an internet connection and Skype available.

How can I “do” Skype with Time to Talk?

You will need the internet to download 'Skype' (it's free). You will need a good connection, sound and picture for Skype to work at its best.

Most sessions last 50 minutes and follow the same format as a face-to-face session. Appointments are booked to fit in with your commitments.

If you don't already have Skype then you can find out all you need to know to get started using it here.
