Oxleas plans best ever AMM

News - AMM 2009 - Trumpets

This year’s Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM) promises to be the biggest and best ever.

Following the success of last year the AMM will again be staged at the IndigO2 Arena at the O2 in Greenwich (formerly the Millennium Dome) on Wednesday 30 September. The theme of this year’s event is Health and Wellbeing.

Local people will have the chance to take part in basic wellbeing checks, have a go at a range of fun activities, meet Oxleas governors and learn more about the trust’s services.

And Escape, a new health and wellbeing magazine for young people will be launched. This has been produced by young people from Priory School in Orpington in partnership with Oxleas and Headliners, a UK-wide news agency producing news, features and comment by young people for everyone.

The Conservatoire, based at Blackheath, will be putting on a range of music, visual arts and other cultural activities for people of all ages and abilities to have a go at.

Registration begins at 9am with a superb range of stalls and interactive activities opening up at 9.15am. At 11.50am the formal part of the AMM  begins followed the Staff Recognition Awards Ceremony.

An invitation to the AMM appears at the bottom of this page. Please print it off and fill in the RSVP section as per the instructions. The invitation also outlines public transport links to the O2 along with details of special free bus services being organised from Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.
