Surge in members at summer events

1. Ruby and Charlotte at Danson festival
Sisters Ruby, 4 (in the nurse uniform) and Charlotte, 2 from Crayford find out about good oral health at the Danson Festival.

Almost 200 local people have joined the trust in the last two weeks with Oxleas staff, volunteers and governors signing them up at local events. A wide range of our services were represented at the Danson Festival in Bexleyheath on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July and also at the Greenwich Great Get Together in Woolwich on Saturday 25 June.

3. David Botting-Page with Ann Martin and Diane Findlay at the Greenwich Great get Together
Oxleas Governor David Botting-Page with volunteers Diane Findlay (centre) and Ann Martin recruiting members at the Greenwich Great get Together.

People of all ages turned out at each event, visiting interactive stalls for health information and advice and to find out more about our services.

We also recruited members at the Work and Fun event on Friday 24 June which was organised for people who use our adult learning disability services.
