Greenwich community learning disability team (CLDT) staff have moved into their new home at the borough's flagship Woolwich Centre building.

Approximately 50 staff who were previously based at the Civic Centre in Woolwich, which is closing, are now in the Woolwich Centre which opened last year. Contact numbers for the team remain the same. However patient appointments will be at the outpatients building at Memorial Hospital in Shooters Hill which has excellent parking and disabled parking. This is temporary until clinical space is secured nearer to the Woolwich Centre.

Service Manager John Auld said: "The move demonstrates the commitment between Oxleas and the Royal Borough of Greenwich to more joint and integrated working to ensure better care for our service users. Staff are getting used to their new working environment and the new open plan office will enable true multi-disciplinary working. The facilities here really are first class."
