Dr Ify Okocha is keen to remind people to fill in their NHS National Patient Survey questionnaires.

Earlier this year Oxleas Chief Executive, Stephen Firn and Medical Director, Dr Ify Okocha, wrote to people who have used our mental health services asking them to take part in the NHS National Patient Survey if they receive one.

The survey has been sent to a random sample of 850 people that had accessed community mental health services. It is organised by the Care Quality Commission which checks whether hospitals, care homes and care services are meeting government standards.

It is very important that people who use our services tell us how we are doing to enable us to improve. If you received a questionnaire, please take the time to fill it in and share your views. All responses are anonymous. We will give £10 to a local group supporting mental health service users for every questionnaire returned. The address to return it to is outlined in the original letter.

Whether or not you received a questionnaire, you can feedback to us directly. You can tell us what you think by emailing pals@oxleas.nhs.uk. Alternatively, you can call Freephone 0800 731 9269 and speak directly to someone about your experiences.
