New kit is the goal for Bromley R&Bs

News: New kit for Bromley R and Bs

A student social worker on placement with Oxleas has been busy raising money for a local football team.

Abul Hassain is currently on placement with Bromley Assertive Outreach and Rehabilitation Team (AORT), which help run local team Bromley R&Bs.

The over 18s team plays in the South London Grassroots Football League and needed a new strip. So Abul has been raising money for them and to date, he has helped to get these printed and has also provided shorts, to match the tops.

Abul is a keen footballer who plays in two leagues in the east end of London and he collected donations from fellow players, to buy the kit.

Bromley R&Bs are looking for new players to join the training session on Fridays, from 12 to 2pm, in Norman Park, near Bromley Common.

Games are held on Fridays, and all are welcome (they are not a service user-only side, they are fully inclusive).

If you are interested in a game, please contact Paul Carter on 07950 654632, or Roy Batten on 07982 151061.
