Members’ Focus Group - Bexley a success

Chairman of Oxleas Andy Trotter at the Bexley members group.

Oxleas members came together this week at an annual event held to inform them of what’s happening within the trust.

Held at The Boathouse in Danson Park, Bexleyheath, the Bexley focus group event attracted around 60 members who were able to find out our priorities for the coming year and to give their views.

They also heard about developments at our Queen Mary’s Hospital site, how we measure quality through patient and carer feedback and our quality priorities.

People were also able to visit stalls to find out about our new Carers and Support Networks Strategy, the effects of alcohol on health and what we've been doing to help our service users and staff to quit smoking.
Information on our website for young people to help them with early mental health issues, HeadScape, was also available for people to take away.

All feedback collected at the event will be collated into a report to our Council of Governors on March 17.
