Oxleas NHS is delighted to announce an extension of our newly launched integrated Health Visiting and Family Nurse Partnership Service with the addition of a new venue in Beckenham.

From Thursday 30 November, new Health Visitor Advice Sessions will be held weekly at the Neighbourhood Church in Cromwell Road from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

There will also now be an additional self-weighing session held weekly on Thursdays at the Crown Medical Centre, 3 Mackintosh Street, Bromley from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

The Healthy Child Programme is aimed at improving health and wellbeing, identifying additional needs early, building resilience and reducing health inequalities through targeted interventions.

This new service, which launched on 1 October, offers families a variety of clinics and drop-in sessions delivered in a range of settings across Bromley borough.

It will continue to evolve and develop with a number of planned improvements in the coming months.

There is already a dedicated single telephone number, 020 8836 8621 to contact a health visitor and we will soon be launching our new Bromley Health Visiting website where families can ask questions and complete questionnaires for information, advice and support.

Stephen Whitmore, Director of Children and Young People’s Services said: "We listened to what our service users were telling us they needed and are delighted to have been able to provide additional sessions for what is such an important service to Bromley families.”
