Annual recognition awards just days away

Oxleas NHS Recognition Awards 2016/17

Oxleas’ annual awards to recognise the excellent work of our staff and partners is now just days away.

Our winners will be announced at a special presentation ceremony on Wednesday, from 3pm to 5pm at The Beaverwood in Chislehurst.

We received hundreds of nominations from staff, service users and members, and an outstanding shortlist of winners and runners-up from across our services have been invited along.

We will be presenting awards in nine categories including a special recognition award which recognises how an individual or team has gone above and beyond their role to make a significant difference to patients or Oxleas as a whole.

In addition, we will be presenting our Governors’ Award, chosen by our governors and our Chair, Andy Trotter, will present a new Chair’s Commendation Award.

Oxleas’ Chief Executive, Ben Travis, said: “The awards are one way that we can recognise and reward the hard work of staff, who have often gone ‘above and beyond’ their duties to deliver quality care that improves people’s lives. It is an opportunity for us to show our appreciation.”

This year, the event is being supported by Galliford Try which is working in partnership with us to redevelop the Queen Mary’s Hospital site in Sidcup.
