CQC report rates our Forensic Services ‘Good’

Forensic team "Good" sign

The CQC inspection of our Forensic Services is now complete and we’re really pleased to learn that our result is 'Good'.

We achieved ‘Good’ in the Safety, Effective, Well-led and Caring domains and a brilliant ‘Outstanding’ in the responsive domain.

The chart below now shows our overall ratings of ‘Good’ across the board – as well as two ‘Outstanding’ ratings.

Chief Executive, Ben Travis said: “This is a fantastic result for us. Special thanks must go to our colleagues in Forensic Services. Their hard work and dedication was certainly noted and acknowledged by CQC and is greatly appreciated by all of us.”

Keith Soper, Director of Forensic and Prison Services said: "Our result shows what a great team Forensic and Prison Services are, I feel proud to be part of such a dedicated group of colleagues and I’m really looking forward to working with the team in future."

Elizabeth Zachariah, Clinical Director of Forensic and Prison Services said: "Forensic and Prison Services can be a challenging environment to work in. We help some of the most vulnerable people in society. The fact that the team has achieved a ‘Good’ rating and an area rated ‘Outstanding’, shows how hard they work and how much they care about doing a good job every day.

"I would like to add that it’s the staff's hardwork, dedication and focus on service user needs that has produced these results."
