Welcome Matthew - our new chief executive

Matthew Trainer welcome

Our new chief executive Matthew Trainer (pictured right) starts with us today. Joining us from Princess Royal University Hospital, Bromley, Matthew is looking forward to meeting colleagues, patients and partners across the organisation.

"I'm delighted to be taking up the role with Oxleas and will be spending as much time as I can talking with colleagues, partners and the people who use our services to find out how we can all work together to provide the best care possible," said Matthew.

Matthew joins Oxleas from King's College Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he was managing director of the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley since November 2016. He joined King's from NHS England, where he was director of commissioning operations for south London.

Matthew succeeds Ben Travis, who took up the role of Chief Executive at Lewisham and Greenwich Trust in April 2018.
