Celebrate AHPs Day with a career change

News: AHP Groups

Find out more about careers within our Allied Health Professions (AHPs) by visiting us at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, SE18 4QH on Monday 14 October to celebrate international AHPs Day.

We’ll be in the main reception area of the hospital in Woolwich, promoting the 14 Allied Health Profession groups and the outstanding work they do, to colleagues and the general public as a prospective career opportunity for school leavers.

In addition, we’ll be launching this video commissioned by Suzanne Rastrick, Chief Allied Health Professionals Officer at NHS England promoting the 14 AHP groups.

Patsy Fung, Head of Profession for Occupational Therapy, said: "We look forward to more joint working opportunities with our AHP colleagues in Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. Pop along between 10am and 2pm to find out more about the great opportunities an AHP career can offer."

Ben Travis, CEO at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust will be visiting in the morning and Matthew Trainer, Chief Executive at Oxleas NHS will be there during the afternoon.
