Governors shine spotlight on membership development

News: Governors membership development

Our governors' recently took part in a membership development session to better understand our membership, who they are and the services they need from us.

The session took place at Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice and was hosted by partnership governor, Kate Heaps. It was chaired by Yens Marsen-Luther, who is a public governor, representing people living in Greenwich and also chairs our Membership Committee.

It provided an arena for governors to look in detail at our membership using examples of people who may be living in our communities. They were able to consider how we are engaging with our current members as well as opportunities to build the membership further, particularly around young people.

After the session, governors enjoyed a guided tour of the hospice.
