Local help wanted to improve care facilities

News: Place

Do you know of someone who can spare a day in October to support their local care facility?

We’re looking for willing members of the local community to be patient assessors and take part in audits that will help us to improve our care environments for patients.

Our assessors will spend a day looking around our facilities and provide feedback from a patient perspective.

PLACE assessments are patient-led assessments of the care environment. They focus on the environment in which care is provided as well as supporting non-clinical services such as cleanliness, food, hydration and provision of care with privacy and dignity.

We need people for these sites:

  • Bracton Centre, Bexley
  • Goldie Leigh, Abbey Wood
  • Oxleas House, Woolwich
  • Green Parks House, Bromley
  • Memorial Hospital, Woolwich
  • Eltham Community Hospital, Eltham
  • Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.

Please contact either Lee Bolton or Rebecca Waller if you would like further information about how you can assist.
