Boost your immunity

News: boosted immunity

Our flu vaccination programme is gathering pace and our colleagues continue to seize their opportunity to protect themselves and boost their immunity this winter.

This year, we are running a joint campaign inviting colleagues to have both their flu vaccination and their COVID-19 booster jab too, which is proving very popular.

View our short film where Interim Chief Executive, Ify Okocha, explains why he’s had his vaccinations this year and why it is important that we all do too, particularly if you’ve never done so before.

The flu vaccine with Dr Ify Okocha from Oxleas NHS.

Oxleas staff can boost their immunity this winter by dropping into one of our flu clinics, or by opting to have it when you attend our vaccination hub at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup to receive your COVID-19 booster. We've also got roaming vaccinators across our sites who can come to you.

Everyone can boost their immunity this winter. Flu can be life-threatening and spreads more easily in winter. If you're in an at risk group, you are eligible for a free flu vaccine.

Get vaccinated. Get boosted. Get protected.
