Join our Bexley ResearchNet open day

News: ResearchNet open day 2021

One of our visions, captured in our new strategy, is for a ‘nothing about us without us’ approach to the delivery of patient care. To do this, we plan to bolster our service user, patient, carer involvement and co-production.

We have been working with ResearchNet for many years and now regularly ask the team for advice and support in developing our services. Feedback has shown that services have also become more user friendly as a result.

Virtual 'Open Day' 3 June 2021 - 1.30pm to 2.30pm

On Thursday 3 June 2021, Bexley ResearchNet will be holding a virtual ‘open day’ focusing on some of the work being done across the trust around co-production of services.

Because of the pandemic, the event will be held via MS Teams, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. Agenda items will include a presentation on volunteering for Oxleas, experiences from members and a question and answer session. There will be 30 minutes of additional time to address any confidential questions attendees may have.

Co-facilitator, Lauren Brown said: “Bexley ResearchNet is a group of service users who come together to discuss improvements to services, conduct surveys and carry out research in a non-judgemental and safe space.

We’re recruiting new members to join the group which meets at the moment, every Thursday from 1pm to 3pm via MS Teams – come and share your experiences with us.”

If you would like to be a part of the open day on 3 June, or the group, please email lauren.brown24@nhs.net.
