Membership benefits

As a member, you can help us to plan for the future by telling us what you think about the services we run and the decisions we make.

It's also a great way to make sure you know what's going on in your local NHS and it's free to join.

Once a member, you will

  • Receive Oxleas Exchange, our membership magazine
  • Learn more about health services and opportunities to support local services.
  • Be invited to special events for members and asked how we can improve services. You can find information about member events in our Member Zone
  • Be able to help choose your governor by voting; or standing yourself, if over 16 years
  • Get exclusive offers and discounts through (sign up is required).

Getting involved

As a member, you can get involved in many ways. How much you're involved is entirely up to you.

You don't need any special skills or experience, you just need to be interested in the services we provide. Everyone has their own experience and views of their local NHS and these really help us to improve.

Become a governor

Governors are people chosen by members to represent them. These people, alongside representatives from local organisations, form our Council of Governors. Our Council of Governors hold the trust management to account and help shape how the trust develops.

You can stand to be a governor if you're aged 16 or over. When vacancies arise on our Council of Governors we let members in the vacant constituency know. You can find out more about our Council of Governors in the Member Zone.
