Winner: Christine Rivers and Sarah Paynter, Lived Experience Network

Christine and Sarah’s nominator described them as having: ‘taken the role of ensuring not only that the wellbeing of our patients and service users are of prime concern but also that of our staff who are often forgotten with the emotional and mental stress encountered daily.’ Christine and Sarah’s dedication to the Lived Experience Network is of great benefit and importance to the trust as it helps to provide the best possible service to both service users and staff alike.

Runner up: Steve Hardy, Atlas House

Steve Hardy led and worked with the staff of Atlas House, handling the transition of patients from a nearby Treatment and Assessment Unit to Atlas House with ease.

Clare is considered an excellent mentor by her nominator. The dedication to her role ensures that she always has the best interest of her patients at heart as well as providing advice and assistance to her fellow colleagues. Clare’s nominator states that Clare should be recognised not just for her clinical skills but also for her ‘care, compassion and empathy.’

Annette is highly regarded and greatly appreciated by all of her patients. She reassures both staff and patients alike with her vast knowledge as well as caring for their welfare.

The MOVE programme works to assist young people with complex needs to sit, stand, walk and transfer. The passionate and dedicated staff work hard to ensure that the service that they provide is of the best quality possible. Many patients are now able to walk which is an inspiration for both staff and service users.
