Annette Bolderstone is an Occupational Therapist currently working in Greenwich Recovery OT Team. She works across the three Recovery Teams, based at The Heights, offering a specialist OT service providing pure OT assessment and intervention without responsibility for generic care coordination duties. This allows her to focus on providing specific OT interventions for the individual's occupational needs.
Annette graduated as an OT in 1990, from Coventry University and since this time has worked with in various settings in mental health including acute, community and forensic. Annette has worked for Oxleas since 1999 and has been working with Greenwich Recovery Service since 2007.
Annette completed an advanced Motivational Interviewing course last year, and since this time has found that MI has enhanced her role as an OT by helping her understand service user's readiness for change and indeed assisting with behaviour change towards health enhancing occupations. Annette is also involved with rolling out MI training across the trust.
