My partner has severe copd we live near Glasgow is there anywhere near there we could attend for these courses.

I've had a very good experience of the mental health team that has recently moved to Beckenham Beacon. My CPN is an exceptionally capable woman and I've found the rest of the staff very approachable when she has been absent.
I have long term mental health problems and have required a lot of support over the years and I've been under their team for about three years and I would happily recommend them.

I don’t know if this is the right thing to do but I was referred to u from Hospital last week and been waiting for someone to contact me from Monday like they said and because I missed the phone call I’m guessing I’ve been discharged from your service? It would be nice of you to tell me rather then me waiting around I’m too scared to ring incase I’m right and then get angry on the phone

My GP at Bromley has referred me to Podiatry at Queen Mary’s Hospital for an appointment with Mr Andrew MacFarlane. I am chasing up an appointment with him, but have been given approx. 6 different telephone numbers from QMH, MSK, Diabetic dept, Garland Road podiatry, pressing different extensions, holding on in a queue only now to be told that I am not able to access an appointment with him due to living and having GP in Bromley.

What happened to book and choose and patients choice. I do not want to access Bromley Healthcare, used them before and weren’t impressed. So what has happened with my GP referral into Queen Mary’s Hospital, would I have been notified I wasn’t going to get an appointment there if I hadn’t of called.

Surely NHS is NHS and that we had choice of which consultant and hospital we can access.

I have been trying for a MONTH to be seen; this service is a complete JOKE. I was asked by my GP to go to the Market Street clinic to have discussion about contraception regarding my specific needs as someone with PCOS. I initially just looked the clinic up on google and saw opening times for a Saturday so I made the journey over there only to be told that only weekend hours are for men only (ridiculous by the way) and that I would have to come on a week day. I was able to book a day off work the following Friday. The clinic opens at 10 and I arrived around 10:15 where I was then told that you need to arrive a minimum of 30 mins before the clinic opens if you have any hope of being seen that day, so my day booked off work was completely wasted. I asked if there was ANYWHERE else I could go and no one could give me any advice at all. Eventually someone told me to go to the Eltham Saturday clinic and again said I would need to be there at least 30 mins early. I was not able to go that week so had to wait another week, make the 40 minute journey from my house, to sit and wait for 45 mins, and when I was eventually seen I was told that they do not provide that service and was then sent to the Morden Hall clinic. I phoned them en route to see if I would be able to get an appointment and was again told that there was no way I could get one as you needed to be there half an hour before they opened if you wanted a chance of being seen. At this point I was at the end of my tether and came back to this website to see if there was any other option for me. I finally found a comment saying to call 020 8301 8955 at 9:45 on a Monday to get a same day appointment. I started calling at 9:45 and continued over and over again until 9:53 and could not get through to anyone. At 9:53 a message came up implying that the line was now closed. So I presume that in the 8 minutes I was unable to get through to anyone, all of todays appointments got booked up?

I am a 30 year old who works full time, I am only able to attend appointments after 6pm on week days, or on the weekend, and apparently it's nigh on impossible for me to be seen! That fact that I live in London and it's taken over a month and I still cannot get an appointment to have a 5 minute conversation to discuss my contraception options is appalling. An absolute joke.

I'm sorry to hear that your girlfriend is experiencing difficulties with alcohol and a number of related health problems. I have tried to contact you to ensure that your girlfriend is linked in with the right services. I'm not sure if she is in Bexley but the Pier Road project provide services for people using alcohol in the borough of Bexley and may be best to direct you. Unfortunately our Community Rehabilitation team (which you mentioned above) is for physical rehabilitation following, for example, falls. I look forward to speaking together to ensure that you have contact with the right team.

Good Afternoon

I arrived in woolwich with my 4 month old baby, 2 weeks ago. I signed up for the GP in Royal Arsenal and there, they told me that I have to make an appointment online for a health visitor to see the baby, that they will only vaccinate her when necessary. How can I make an appointment for the health visitor? I'm lost. Thank you

I wish to use this opportunity to welcome you to Woolwich. I hope you are settling well into the area.

Health visiting is a universal service for all families with children under five, who live in Greenwich. It is wonderful to know that our GP colleagues continue to signpost families to our service.

The service is delivered between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday from health centres, clinics and children’s centres. The team also make home visits.

You can contact the service during these times by telephone on: 020 8836 8621 (Option 4).

You can also have access to useful evidence based information online by going on the internet and search for - Oxleas Health Visiting.

Or by attending a Health Advice sessions - details can be found on the following website:

At the health advice sessions, families who would like to speak to a health visitor about any concerns they may have regarding their baby or child’s health or development, or who wish to request support from the health visitor can attend the weekly’ Health Visitor Advice session’ in their local Children’s Centre area.

Families who would like to have their baby weighed and ask for advice on routine issues such as introducing solids, sleeping or home safety can attend one of the two health drop in sessions in their area facilitated by Nursery Nurses. Each session will last for three hours.

You will only need appointments for your child or yourself for certain key touch points, this would be arranged by the service and sent to you by email or post.

My son is 5 years old, he turns 6 in March. We're trying to get him accessed as we believe he may have autism and ADHD. We're also trying to get EHP plan agreed so he receives the appropriate support whilst at school. I was told to contact CAMHS as you might be able to provide us with additional support,. I'm unsure what services you provide so if you feel you can help in anyway please do let me know.
