Just used 'The Source' - They are so professional, helpful and efficient, they seem to be a well kept secret, and had I had known about them a few years ago - would go direct to them. Eltham Palace Surgery have a backlog with immunisations so 'The Source' kindly sorted it for me. Highly recommended and my sincere thanks x

I am about to lose my home after years {about 4} of telling Erith that I cant deal with things, and them rudely telling me that basically there is no help. Fell over had a ct scan...Guess what folks have early onset dementia!! Terminal disease, was showing all signs but lazy Erith just left me to struggle.

I saw the nurse the other day and she was fantastic. She helped me clean my wound and I am very grateful.
I am currently in private psychotherapy. I have had depression for the past 2 years with problems that are seriously affecting my income etc. I am finding it difficult to keep the financial commitment for my therapy. Is there anyway to get psychotherapy on the NHS and what would be the way forward. My doctor has said to go through time to talk but I am not keen on cbt at the moment as I wish to continue with psychotherapy.
Thank you
Dear James
Psychotherapy is available for certain types of mental health conditions, if you are referred by your GP. If not, there are other services including WPF Therapy, who may be able to help you (www.wpf.org.uk/about-us.aspx)
There are other services you can access without the need to see your GP including Greenwich Time To Talk:

It was provided your contact details by my go but every time I've tried calling I've either got a pleas call back or hung up on! I've worked in both mental health and physical health and I'm now in paediatrics, which is why I need some support! I'm not confident enough to give my details on an open page but I can see where I'm falling apart I know the techniques that help I know how to get others to apply them for their needs. I can see whee I should have my own graded program but I just can't get there on my own I can't see past my sticking point and am on automatic pilot Please sort out your services 1 evidence the need for funding for mental health 2) all community services (physical health dischargers are atrochises and nearly always now totally ignoring the rehab potencially of all clients leading them to a life of full time care which looses their independence and costs a ridiculous amount in care instead of short term rehab services
Dear Lola

I am 62 years old male, a chartered accountant that used to work in a government sensitive post with the National Audit Office. (the UK's Supreme Audit Institution).Since I was 28 I suffered from uni-depressions but in 2001 I was diagnosed as Bipolar. Regretfully, when I get a bit manic I tend to complain about the medical staff who are trying their best to help. Alienating my care staff like this does not get me much credits. I was admitted informally twice at the end of last year. When finally discharged from Green Parks House in mid December, I was starting to feel depressed. This continued until end of May bank holiday when I flipped (within a week) to hypomania. Rather than being hospitalised I was transferred to the Home Treatment Team. They have been outstanding!!!Tomorrow my care will be transferred back to Carlton Parade. Thank you, Oxleas.
