Twenty year old Omar, from Lee, started using our services last year following an episode of psychosis.
"I'd never even heard of psychosis before becoming ill," he said.
After leaving hospital, he joined the project, run by our Early Intervention in Psychosis team and Charlton Athletic Community Trust. This programme of activities increases confidence and self esteem and increases physical wellbeing.
"I really enjoyed all the different activities offered by the programme. Spending time with others who have had the same condition has helped me gain a good insight into psychosis and has really helped my recovery. Just being with people who've had the same experience has been amazing."
