Bexley Home Treatment Team are a multidisciplinary team of professionals and support workers who provide short term help to people who are in a mental health crisis or who require intensive community support following discharge from hospital.

Oxleas Patient Experience survey

The Oxleas Patient Experience survey gives you the opportunity to feedback on the care and treatment you have received. We also encourage your friends, family and carers to also provide feedback. Hearing your views gives us a better understanding of the needs of our patients, families and carers which helps us to make sure that we are providing a good standard of care. 

The short survey only takes a few minutes to complete and you can provide a written comment explaining what you think is working well and what is not. The Patient Experience team will collect the results of the surveys and these are shared with the relevant departments and management teams. This helps us to shape our services to continually improve the quality of the care and treatment we provide.

Hello I tried to ask my team to refer me till my care coordinator is back from sick but she won’t do it, so I’m trying instead
I feel like I’m loosing control of my behaviour and I’m beginning to think hiding things is the better option because telling the truth gets you nowhere!!!

PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service)

Does anyone know when I will receive any contact from the care coordinator I was referred to, or is there an email address for them so I can contact them? I was discharged almost two weeks ago (though my condition never improved and continues to decline without treatment) and I haven't had access to any treatment since. My university and GP (who I've been meeting with trying to arrange treatment) both say that there is nothing they can do to help me. I can't make phone calls and can't find any other means of contacting anyone.

I would like to make a complaint about a woman from the mental health team from oxleas who see me at hospital for my mental health she disrespect my disability at Queen Elizabeth hospital

Hello I want to complain I don’t normally complain about this team but this new home treatment team are actually shocking
I was referred you the hospital but I think some of them are rude!!!
Yes some of it was my fault but I was in a crisis and there is no need to be abrupt and rude
I don’t no if I been discharged as they haven’t contacted me in a week I just been ignored and left to get on with it, no wonder I’m struggling!!!!!!!

The original team were so much more understanding and nicer
No wonder I’ve lost trust in this team too
Being left in the dark is not pleasant I’d rather be told what is going on!

I don’t know if this is the right thing to do but I was referred to u from Hospital last week and been waiting for someone to contact me from Monday like they said and because I missed the phone call I’m guessing I’ve been discharged from your service? It would be nice of you to tell me rather then me waiting around I’m too scared to ring incase I’m right and then get angry on the phone
