Mcch Autism (formerly Burgess Autistic Trust)

On 1 April 2018, Burgess Autistic Trust, which was part of the mcch group, merged fully with mcch.

Mcch Autism offers a range of services to adults on the Autism Spectrum:

Supported Living Housing – We have a number of properties in the Bromley area where people on the spectrum can live independently with staff on-hand to support them during the day and on-call round the clock.

Jubilee Day Centre - We run sessions to give people greater independence training them in daily living skills, literacy and numeracy, cookery and healthy eating, arts and crafts and community activities, like swimming and bowling.

Independent Lifestyles – Our Independent Lifestyles service offers 1:1 support to individuals on the Autism Spectrum. For £15.60 an hour one of our support workers can help with domestic issues like cooking, cleaning, and budgeting or with personal development and socialising like accessing public transport, finding courses, and finding full/part time work.

The Autism Library - We also have a well-stocked library at our Hub in Beckenham with over 1,500 books and resources on autism-related subjects. You can become a member of the library for a one-off £20 life-time membership fee, which entitles you to borrow 2 books for a month at a time.
