Metro Centre Bexley, Greenwich

For lesbian, gay and bisexual people or anyone questioning their sexuality living in south east London. The centre provides mental health support services including a mixed weekly drop-in, short term crisis support, long-term and short-term counselling, advice and advocacy, and one-off workshops. 

A clinic is run on Tuesday evenings 6 to 8pm for lesbians, bisexual women and women who have sex with women. This is alongside the existing male clinics. They provide outreach and HIV prevention services including a GUM clinic on Wednesday and Saturday for gay and bisexual men, a mentor support programme, outreach services, hate crime reporting services and a 50+ group. They also provide youth services including youth groups, short term crisis support, 25 and under counselling, outreach services and work in schools. Training and consultancy services are available to individuals and agencies.

The Metro Centre also provides a range of volunteering opportunities. People interested in accessing services should make telephone contact with The Metro Centre themselves. Queries from health professionals regarding the appropriateness of the service for a client are accepted, but the clients must make contact with the service themself.
