Paediatric Continence Service (Bexley) Bexley

The service is available for Children and young people aged 5-18 with a Bexley GP who have bladder and / or Bowel incontinence.

The service will provide 2 clinics per week at Erith Health Centre. They will offer specialist assessment and management of continence issues including:

  • Public health advice on diet, fluid intake, sleep patterns and routines pertaining to achieving continence
  • Enuresis
  • Daytime wetting
  • Constipation
  • Soiling
  • Diagnostics including bladder scanning
  • Provision of a range of treatments including bed alarms and medication
  • Referral to Community Paediatrics if needed.

How to access this service:

Referrals will be accepted from parents, GPs, Health Professionals, schools, Social Services and accessed via the central administration team on 0208 836 8621.

Drop-in 29 May 2018

Come and see your community paediatric continence team on world bedwetting day, 29 May 2018 between 11am and 2pm, at The Woolwich Centre library, 35 Wellington Street, Woolwich, London SE18 6HQ. 

There will be a Nurse and Continence Advisor on hand to offer you an assessment, advice and guidance on a multitude of bladder and bowel disorders.
