Re-Instate enhances the lives of people experiencing mental distress or with learning disabilities, through a range of employment and learning opportunities. Services are tailored to the individual and include:
- Employment Services – offering high-quality job retention, support to find paid employment or voluntary work, work placements and taster days in a broad range of organisations. Re-Instate also work with employers to ensure reasonable adjustments are made, including help with Access to Work, and Disability and Equality Training.
- Learning & Development – Providing in-house “skills for life” courses in conjunction with the Adult Education College, Bexley, accredited vocational qualifications and access to other community based courses.
- The social enterprise workshop – Offering work-experience to build confidence and develop work and social skills as part of a personnel development plan.
Re-Instate are providing mental health employment services as part of a partnership with Mind in Bexley and Oxleas Foundation Trust. Referrals can be made through a GP, care-co-ordinator or health professional to Mind in Bexley.
