Specialist Foot Service Greenwich

A community-based consultant-led specialist service (an alternative to orthopaedics for foot problems) which offers diagnosis and treatment for complex foot and lower limb deformities. It includes specialist foot surgery, diagnostic joint and soft tissue injections, therapeutic steroid injections, fluoroscopy (a type of medical imaging), orthoses (a brace or other device which supports the foot or lower limb) and other appliances.

How to access this service

The service is available to those registered with a GP in Greenwich. Referrals must be made by a health or social care professional. Patients with foot problems suitable for surgery can be referred for an initial assessment.

The service is available Wednesday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. An on-call service is available to all people who have a surgical emergency.


I had excellent service from the Health Centre in 2013 and now I am happy to find the experience is being repeated in 2014.
