Specialist Nursing - Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Bexley

This service has been developed to provide specialist nursing support for people in Bexley who have Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and for their families and carers.

The specialist nurse’s role is to work with you and the people who care for you to ensure you receive the best care at the right time, throughout the course of the condition.

People with MS may be cared for by a wide range of specialists, including consultant neurologists, GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists, speech and language therapists and social services. The specialist nurse works alongside these other professionals.

When will there be a specialist MS nurse for Bexley?

Thank you very much for contacting us. The MS Nurse post for Bexley has been advertised and we hope to interview candidates in August.

At present the two neurology nurses in the Bexley Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team are covering the vacant post.
