Mental health, wellbeing and community support in focus

Greenwich time to talk speaking at a Cure Comm workshop about our talking therapies service.

Colleagues from Greenwich Time to Talk recently visited the borough’s CureComm CIC (Community Interest Company), to introduce what talking therapies can offer and the difference between mental illness and mental health and wellbeing.

CureComm is a community organisation supporting adults aged 18 and over. Since its launch in October 2021, it has provided person-centred support and addressed social factors linked to stress and anxiety.

The team works to reduce stigma around mental health and offers help with issues such as grief, loneliness, financial pressure and career challenges.

Greenwich Time to Talk Community Engagement Lead, Reshma Jerin, welcomed the opportunity for open discussion, saying:

Great respect to the team at CureComm for creating such a warm, welcoming and supportive space. I left feeling heard, seen and inspired.
