New guide to healthcare now available

NHS South East London is launching a new campaign to help people find their way to the care they need – whether it’s going to their local pharmacy, a minor eye conditions service or resting up at home.

The aim is to raise awareness of the full range of options and to increase people’s knowledge and understanding of what route to take for a particular symptom or condition.

Unlike some other public messaging, this campaign takes a user-centred approach. It starts with the person’s problem and maps out a clear route to a solution.

At the heart of the campaign is an illustrated guide, co-produced with local communities. This January, the guide will be distributed directly to households and in public places, and in key community locations, including pharmacies and libraries.

A digital version of the guide is also available via the South East London Integrated Care System (SELICS) website here: New: Guide to healthcare - South East London ICS
