
A solicitor by background, Muneeza currently works for Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, supporting the efforts of making COVID-19 vaccines available to residents of low-income countries. She has a strong interest in supporting under-represented groups having been a trustee for Elders Voice and a volunteer with Age UK and having worked pro-bono in several legal challenges relating to unlawful detention and other civil rights matters.

Muneeza joined the Board on 1 May 2023 taking up a three-year role as a non-executive director. The appointment was made by our Council of Governors in March 2023. She replaces Yemisi Gibbons who left Oxleas Board of Directors to take up the role as Chair of Croydon Health Services NHS Trust earlier this year.

We receive documentary, location and broadcast filming requests on a regular basis – we consider all proposals on an individual basis and will try to accommodate proposals where possible, if appropriate.
No photography or filming is permitted without prior arrangement and agreement. Our patients always come first and we have a duty to protect their safety and confidentiality. Anyone found filming or taking photographs on the trust premises without the permission of the trust’s communications team will be asked to leave by the security department and may face prosecution.
Unless agreed otherwise, film crews and photographers must be accompanied by a member of the Communications Team at all times.
