Oxleas NHS is proud to be the country’s leading NHS provider of healthcare in secure environments and we attended the conference looking to recruit to our fantastic teams working in prisons in Kent, London and in the south west of England.
A number of staff from our offender healthcare services had the opportunity to attend the 2-day summit. This year's theme was building bridges between teams, organisations and systems to facilitate better access to safe, equitable health and social care for those within the justice system, both inside secure settings and in the community.
Sarah Jarvis from HMP Erlestoke, Kathryn Tole from HMP Bristol and Drs Alex Bunn and Varinder Panesar-Talbot from HMP Wandsworth were among an impressive line-up of guest speakers for the event.
