Supporting South London Listens Summer Celebrations

South London Listens community event celebrating local involvement

Oxleas colleagues joined community leaders and partners from South London Listens to celebrate how neighbourhood groups are taking action to improve local people's health and wellbeing.

A wide variety of groups from across South London came together in Waterloo as part of the South London Listens' summer showcase.

The event was co-hosted by Jesse Ashiegbu, the creator of Greenwich's Thursday Night Jollof — an initiative to support men’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being. He was joined on stage by Oxleas' Tafadzwa Marapara to highlight how Oxleas is working with community groups to improve health and wellbeing and increase the diversity of people accessing our services.
