
With a nursing background, Martin has more than 38 years’ experience in the health sector including 20 years in executive board positions. This includes commissioning, policy and strategy, clinical leadership and transformation at local, regional and national levels.
He retired from his role as Director of Improvement, Transformation and Partnerships NHS London in 2024.
In 2020, Martin was appointed the Covid-19 Incident Director for London and was awarded an MBE in the 2024 New Year Honours for services to healthcare.
Martin lives locally in the borough of Bexley and has been a member of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust for well over a decade.
He said: “I am thrilled to be joining the trust and hope to help it continue to grow, strengthen and deliver the best possible services to the people we serve.”
