I have been a staff governor since November 2025

I have been the Trust-wide sport & fitness lead for the past 8 years (total 10 years in the NHS), delivering sport and exercise therapy across the Forensic directorate. 

Due to the nature of my role, I became a governor to potentially influence the Trust leadership on physical health across all Directorates.  Also, becoming a governor will enhance my roll and give a operational / overview of how the Trust operates and challenges that lie ahead.

I volunteer on a weekly basis for the Off The Ropes boxing charity, who now have a base at the Goldie Leigh site, offering service users and staff the benefits of non-contact boxing.
