The Continence Advisory Service provides advice, support and treatment to patients with bladder and bowel dysfunctions. These include urinary stress, overflow and urgency problems, constipation and diarrhoea.
The service also provides continence equipment and products to individuals who need them.
If you are experiencing continence problems, the service will invite you to attend a clinic. Clinics are held in locations across the borough. If you cannot leave the house to go to a clinic, we will try to arrange for a district nurse to assess you. The district nurse will then contact the service for advice.
To access the service, you need to be registered with a GP in Bexley or live in the borough.
You can self-refer to the service by calling the Central Access Team on 020 8320 3550. You can also be referred to the service by health and social care professionals.
