Forensic Intellectual Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Community Service (FIND)

  • The Forensic Intellectual Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Community Service (FIND) offers support to adults with intellectual disabilities or Autistic Spectrum Disorder who present with forensic risk. We work across south London.

We offer support in several ways. This includes:

    • Providing case consultation and advice to the professional network
    • Providing joint working alongside the local care coordinating team
    • Offering training to health and social care professionals

After the initial assessment and referral review, the service will offer one of the following interventions:

    • Specialist training and support to agencies that provide day-to-day support
    • Case consultation and advice
    • Joint assessments and case management with existing community providers
    • Enhanced joint case management of a very small cohort of high-risk or complex cases
    • In-reach support to ensure safe and timely discharges and transition to less restrictive environments

    Any interventions we offer will:

    • Be matched to the service user’s level of risk
    • Focus on the criminogenic needs of referred service users, integrated with strengths-based or a ‘good lives’, desistance-focused approach to reducing risk

  • Reception phone number: 020 3927 6150
