The Bromley Green Parks House Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT) provides assessment, advice and information to people with mental health problems who are receiving medical treatment in A&E or other wards at the Princess Royal University Hospital.
The team acts as a link between the general hospital and the mental health services.
At the assessment, you will meet one of our team in a private and confidential space. Generally, you will only meet us on one occasion.
We will carry out a thorough assessment of your mental health needs. We may want to speak to your relative or carer but will always ask your permission before doing so.

Following the assessment, we will inform you about any treatment we are referring you for. We will also provide advice and information about your mental health.
We cannot offer routine mental health appointments in A&E, help you obtain housing, or provide support for benefit reviews. We do not offer follow-up appointments.
We are a multidisciplinary team. This means we are a group of professionals who specialise in different areas of medicine but work together to make decisions about how to care for patients. The team includes:
