Podiatric Surgery is surgery on the foot and ankle. Greenwich Podiatric Surgery Service is an efficient and effective consultant-led service. It provides high-quality clinical care to patients with foot or ankle problems.
We provide several surgical treatments for a range of conditions. These include:
This surgery is carried out under local anaesthesia at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup. It is performed on a day case basis. This means there is no need to stay in the hospital overnight. The Department of Podiatric surgery carries out all patient aftercare.
We aim to improve a patients' quality of life by resolving their foot pain. The department works to make the most efficient use of resources to maximise patient care. Sometimes, this means using other healthcare services and expertise. In these cases, we will refer you to the right service.
To access this service you must be a patient in the borough of Greenwich.
You can be referred to the service by your GP. They will refer you via Circle Health Club.
