Single Point of Access, Children's Specialist Service - Bexley

  • The Bexley Single Point of Access Children’s Specialist Service supports several Oxleas services by:

    • Acting as the first point of contact for all callers
    • Managing referrals
    • Arranging appointments
    • Processing general correspondence
    • Producing reports, care plans and letters sent out by the teams
    • Collecting health information for the Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) process
    • Requesting and chasing up questionnaires and documents required by the teams for various assessments

    We provide administrative support to the following services:

    • Audiology
    • Children’s Nursing Team
    • Looked After Children
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Orthoptics
    • Physiotherapy
    • Speech and Language Therapy
    • Community Paediatrics – Including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Child Development Coordination Service (CDCS/CNCS)
