Oxleas offers a trauma-informed model of healthcare to prisons across the southwest. This enables patients to access support at the right level and includes “no threshold” access to healthcare.
Our team
We deliver integrated, responsive care based on “Making Every Contact Count” through highly trained professionals, including:
- Senior primary care, substance misuse and mental health nursing teams
- GP services and prescribing (through our partner DrPA)
- Emergency response
- Psychology and psychological therapy, psychiatry, and mental health nursing
- Clinical pharmacy
- Psychosocial substance misuse services, discharge and release/resettlement planning and supporting our peer mentor programme (through our partner CGL)
- Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Physiotherapy, Pain Management, Sexual Health Services and Audiology
- External planned and emergency secondary care
- Diagnostic imaging
- Learning disability/neurodiversity services
