Older Adult, Community Mental Health Service – Greenwich

  • The Older Adult Community Mental Health Service helps older people with mental health needs in the borough of Greenwich.

    We aim to enable older people to live independently in the community for as long as possible. We achieve this by providing specialist assessment, treatment and social support.

    Treatment options include:

    • Outpatient appointments
    • Medication therapy
    • Talking therapies (either one-to-one or group) 
    • Care coordination and social care packages for complex needs

How to access this service

To access this service, you must:

  • Be aged 65 or above, unless you have a dementia diagnosis
  • Pay council tax to and live in the Royal Borough of Greenwich
  • See your GP for a routine physical health screening

Referrals

We do not accept referrals for people:

  • With no identified mental health needs
  • Requiring social care packages only
